Corporate Headshot: 10 Reasons Why you need to Schedule for Your Team
Corporate Headshot – Do you ever feel like your team’s online presence leaves something to be desired? Or your clients don’t know the story behind your brand? Or maybe your LinkedIn profile just doesn’t look quite as professional and polished as it should?
There’s a simple solution to this – professional corporate headshots. Corporate headshots aren’t just for sales pages and annual reports; they can make an impression on customers, show pride in a job, put faces to the names and encourage conversation during video calls—you name it! As a manager or employee looking to optimize your organization’s presence, scheduling corporate headshots can take things to the next level.
Here are ten reasons why scheduling corporate headshots for your team boosts employee morale and increases professionalism on and off the job.
1. First impressions matter
When it comes to business, first impressions are everything. You want your potential clients and customers to see you and your team as professional, competent, and trustworthy. Having high-quality corporate headshots is one way to convey that message.
Imagine this: A professional corporate team dressed in sharp business attire stands against a solid background, with each member smiling and looking confidently into the camera. Soft but vibrant colors emphasize the clean and crisp look of their outfits while also conveying the friendly atmosphere of the team.
Now, imagine the same team, but this time, each member has an outdated corporate headshot with a less-than-stellar background. The photos are grainy or blurry, disjointed, and uncoordinated. Who would you rather do business with?
2. It’s a great way to show off your team’s personality.
Your company’s headshots are one of the first things potential customers will see when they visit your website or social media pages. And while you want them to see that your team is professional, you also want them to see that your team is fun and approachable. A corporate headshot is a perfect way to show off your team’s personality and make a great first impression.
3. It builds trust and credibility.
Today’s world is bombarded with ads and marketing messages from all sides. As a result, it can take a lot of work to stand out from the crowd and build trust with potential customers. But one thing that can help is having professional-looking headshots for your team. When people see that your team takes their image seriously, it builds trust and credibility.
People are more likely to do business with someone they feel they can trust. A corporate headshot helps to put a face to the name and makes your team more relatable and approachable.
When people see photos of your team members, they should feel like they could walk up to them and strike up a conversation. If your team’s headshots look too stiff or formal, people may misunderstand your company culture. But if your team’s headshots look confident and friendly, people will be more likely to want to do business with you.
4. Corporate Headshot show you’re serious about your brand
Investing in professional corporate headshot shows that you’re serious about your brand and that you’re willing to invest in quality photography and visual branding. This sends a strong message to potential clients that you’re a company they can count on.
Building a brand is all about creating an identity, and corporate headshots can help you do that. A professional corporate headshot helps to show potential customers who you are and makes it easier for them to connect with your brand.
5. Corporate Headshot helps you stand out from the competition
In today’s competitive business world, it’s essential to do whatever you can to stand out from the crowd. High-quality corporate headshots can help you differentiate yourself from your competitors and make your company more memorable.
Plus, corporate headshots give you the opportunity to show your team in a different light than your competitors. You can showcase your company’s unique personality and values through corporate headshots, helping you stand out from the competition.
6. Headshots are versatile
You can use corporate headshots for a variety of purposes, such as your website, marketing materials, social media, and even in print ads. They’re a valuable asset that will continue to pay dividends long after they’re taken. A professional quality headshot stays relevant for at least 2-3 years.
7. Headshots save time (and money) in the long run
Having professional headshots taken now will save you time (and money) down the road. You won’t have to worry about scrambling to get new photos every time you need them, and you’ll always have a great photo on hand when you need it.
Not to mention all the business you may accrue from investing in your company image. People are likely to do business with a company that looks professional and well-put together, so corporate headshots can be a great way to draw in new customers.
8. It helps you attract top talent.
If you’re looking to attract top talent to your company, having professional headshots for your team can be a big help. When job seekers see that your company takes its image seriously, it signals that you’re a well-run operation that cares about its employees. And that can be a big selling point for top talent.
9. It shows that you’re invested in your employees.
Investing in corporate headshots for your team shows that you’re invested in them as individuals. It shows that you care about their professional image and want to help them put their best foot forward. And that can go a long way toward building employee morale and loyalty.
Feeling valued by their employer is important to employees, and corporate headshots are a great way to show them that they’re appreciated.
10. Corporate Headshots are fun!
Last but not least, corporate headshots can be a lot of fun! It’s a chance for you and your team to dress up, have some laughs, and create lasting memories together. Creating a sense of camaraderie is a vital part of any successful team, and corporate headshots are a great way to do that.
So if you’re looking for a way to boost your corporate image and show off the personalities of your team, corporate headshots are a great option. They provide an easy, cost-effective way to make a lasting impression on potential customers and build employee morale.

How do you want to be photographed?
Whats your style?
With holiday season coming up I write this so I can help people make an educated decision when it comes to choosing your photographer and creating that perfect experience for you. Big question to think about are : How do you want to be photographed? How do you vision your Custom Photo Session?
A couple of months back, I attended a photography workshop / conference called the Portrait Masters at Indian Wells, Palm Springs, CA.
The best part of this workshop was that we learnt from the best. Names like Sue Bryce, Kelly Brown, Joel Grimes, Peter Hurley, Michele Celentano, Lindsay Adler , Susan Stripling were no longer just names anymore. They were / are our mentors. We re-learnt the art of details and creativity from them. We polished our skills and when you have such gurus, there is a shift that happens. Anyways, a bunch of us artists came in a day early and decided the place was too beautiful to not use it well. So we planned out a fun day at the Joshua Tree National Park. What use is your profession when you have a camera in hand, a beautiful locale, fellow artists to brain storm with and share creative ideas with a super gorgeous parachute dress. YES created from a real parachute. Oh the fellow artist / creator of the dress in our group is super talented. So one of the girls decided to be brave and model for us as we took turns to click her in that beautiful location It was so amazing to see us a bunch of photographers hovering over our beautiful model/ photographer / fellow artist like paparazzi and clicking her. That’s when it dawned on me..We all had different perspectives, different angles we were shooting from and all had our own unique vision. When we came back home after the conference , we had a different way of how we developed and presented our work. No image from the same model/ location were the same. For this shot the gear used were: Canon 5D Mark 4 Lens: Canon 24-70 f2.8L USM f4.0 1/200 Here is what I created. A very dear friend and my fellow photographer Kapu created this: Check out her beautiful work here and folks in New Jersey and Tri-state area, contact her for all your portrait needs : http://www.kapupatelphotography.com/ Long story short, when you are shopping for your photographer, its very important to understand what you want from your session. Let your photographer know what your vision is. When you decide to go beyond “shoot and burn” photography into getting your own custom session based on your needs, you get those amazing images that you will love forever. Talk to your photographer of what speaks to you. When we photographers invest in such workshops we educate ourselves with the latest in the photography market. We learn and re-learn art so you can get the best of service, products and experience that you deserve and love. Photographs are not just paper… they are an investment because you value them more and more with time and precious because the images captured in those moments will never come back. They are your FOREVER MEMORIES! If you are looking for a session for yourself or your family and kids especially with holidays coming up or just to capture those precious family moments, invest in a photographer that give you quality products, great images and experience to always remember. If you are in the Bay area , California I am your photographer. Do check out my work here: https://www.poojaphotography.com/gallery/
