I’m Pooja, a Certified Professional Photographer based in San Ramon, and I’ve spent over a decade helping Bay Area executives, entrepreneurs, and corporate teams walk away with professional headshots they’re genuinely proud of. My studio is in the East Bay, and I also travel to your office for on-location headshot days across the Bay Area, from San Francisco to San Jose.

At Pooja Photography, sessions are priced as a full luxury experience, including pre-session consultation, professional posing guidance, and a reveal ordering session. What should I wear for a professional headshot or portrait session?
For a professional headshot, solid colors photograph best. Avoid busy patterns, logos, and bright white, which can wash out against studio lighting. Navy, charcoal, burgundy, and jewel tones tend to work beautifully across most skin tones. You’ll receive a detailed wardrobe guide before your session so you arrive prepared and confident, not second-guessing yourself in the parking lot.
How long does a professional headshot session take?
Most individual headshot sessions at Pooja Photography run 30 to 60 minutes. That includes time for outfit changes, posing guidance, and capturing a variety of looks for LinkedIn, your company website, and speaking profiles. Corporate headshot days for teams are scheduled in efficient 10-minute slots per person so your workday stays on track.
What's the difference between a headshot and a personal branding session?
A headshot is a single polished portrait, typically used for LinkedIn, company directories, and press features. A personal branding session goes deeper. It’s a curated collection of images that tells your professional story: you in your workspace, you presenting, you in conversation, you at your best across multiple settings and outfits. Do you offer on-site corporate headshots at our office?
Yes. On-location corporate headshot days are one of Pooja Photography’s most popular services. A complete studio setup comes directly to your San Ramon, San Francisco, or Bay Area office so your team doesn’t have to travel. Most employees are photographed in 10 to 15 minutes each, making it easy to fit into a busy workday. The result is a polished, consistent set of professional headshots for your entire team.
Do you do events or weddings?
We are exceptional at creating portraits that tell stories and that is our niche. So no, we do not photograph weddings / events/ birthday parties/ baby showers/ cake smashes/ house warming parties. etc.
How long before I get to see my images?
Oh we can’t keep you waiting … we love it when you are excited to enjoy your portraits. For most of our sessions, the viewing/ordering appointment is right after the session. Once we have what you love, we get theimages and products ready for you.
I need Albums and Wall Art for my home. Can you help?
Do I get the RAW files?
No RAW files or un-fininshed images will be provided. You go to a restaurant to enjoy a gourmet dinner not raw food. We are that service.
Can I scan my printed images ?
It is illegal to scan your prints. Photographers hold the copyright to the images by law.
How long do you keep my photographs for ?
We cannot guarantee preserving your images and recommend buying the photographs you love at your ordering appointment.
Can I cancel my session?
Custom photography is non-refundable. We can re-schedule date only once.
